Gordan Savicic is an artist playing with software algorithms, experimental media and fine art. His works includes game art, interactive/passive installations and speculative hardware.
With ZugZwangZukunft he developed various Arcade Machine Modifications which have been shown internationally. He received several honorary mentions in various categories at Ars Electronica and has been awarded the Third Prize at Transmediale 08 in Berlin. Savicic lives and works between Rotterdam, Berlin and Vienna.

Danja Vasiliev is a Russian born computer artist currently living between Berlin and Rotterdam. Working with diverse methods, technologies and materials Danja ridicules the contemporary affection for digital life and questions the global tendency for cyborg-ination. Network and Internet technology is the latest affection of him. He is currently developing several special devices that will become the new tools of a digital interventionist.

Martin Kaltenbrunner, one of the Reactable inventors, will perform on the original instrument together with the experimental thereminist Günther Gessert, playing one of the oldest electronic musical instruments. Within an electro-acoustic performance, the physical interface of the Reactable will contrast with the intangible interaction on the Theremin. Before the actual evening concert, participants will have the opportunity to try both instruments in an afternoon workshop.

6 musicians from different areas of electronic music develop one composition for the public space. The 8-channel sound installation will extend at the area of the centralgarden of over 400 square meters, which is used by passengers, neighbors, children etc. in many different ways. The piece of music varies over 12 hours and through 8 loud-speakers. The different sounds at different places of that area are in a permanent movement and are changing sound and space.

The tour analyses digital cultural practice as an ongoing process between medial publics and pragmatic realities: conditions of urban contexts are analysed and made accessible for individual forms and languages of art, to open up new (often only temporary) free zones in the meshwork of public interest, rules, and a subversive spirit of research.
