Title: Unveiling the technological process (Lecture)
Fumihiko Sumitomo is currently director of the Festival for Arts and Social Technology Yokohama. Before he was a senior curator at Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo (MOT), he worked for NTT InterCommunication Center (ICC) in Tokyo. and he was a curator at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa. He has contributed to several books, including The Role of Art in the 21st Century (Tokyo: Mirai-sha 2006) and is also a key member of Arts Initiative Tokyo (AIT), a nonprofit, independent collective of curators and art administrators based in Tokyo with the mission to provide a new public forum for contemporary art. Fumihiko Sumitomo holds an M.A. in Culture and Representation from the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, The University of Tokyo.
